I know these cuts of meat can be more expensive than the standard feedlot variety, so I wanted to provide some resources and ideas to save you money while you nourish your body.
First, think local! Use the following resources to find a farmer near you. You can search for farmers offering meat shares, vegetable/fruit CSA shares, or various specialty items like eggs, milk, honey, and much more.
Many farms will offer direct bulk sales of meat to bring the overall price per pound lower than that of buying through a grocery store or co-op.
I also have heard feedback that many of our readers are located in towns without as many healthy offerings in local stores. In that case, there are a variety of online sources that deliver right to your door.
